Can you mop vinyl floor?

Vinyl floor is really easy to keep clean so is a perfect choice for pretty much any room in your home - who doesn't want to cut down on the housework!

A good sweep or vacuum, followed by a mop will keep it well maintained. It's possible to buy specific vinyl floor cleaning products but these are not always necessary and being consistent with the upkeep and the cleaning methods above should be just fine.

Are there any negatives to vinyl floor?

Vinyl flooring is made up of a design layer covered by a single wear layer. Depending on the quality of the vinyl this wear layer can sometimes get damaged. It is not possible to repair this kind of damage and may result in the whole floor, or section of flooring, being replaced. If you look after it though, this shouldn't be an issue.
