Poplar Carpets' Sponsorship

Poplar Carpets recently had the honour of being the match sponsor for the 1st XI team's exciting match against Ombersley Cricket Club in late May. This match marked the debut of Abu Jayed Rahi, a talented international cricketer from Bangladesh. 

Player of the Match for the 1st XI was Ollie Rogoff with a superb 74no

George Rhodes took a fine 6-64 as Ombersley Cricket Club were restricted to 226-9. Rogoff's 74 and an excellent 40 from Josh Blunt took the Green close to a win but they ended on 204-9 and a losing draw! All at Poplar Carpets, Malvern, look forward to an exciting summer of cricket ahead!
